Cirque Series Coming to WA State

Missed that one when I was looking at their website, but friend of the blog Alex Bond pointed it out to me:

  • Date: September 20th, 2025
  • Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington State,
  • Distance: 7.7 miles, 2,544’ft vert.
  • Cost: $99.
  • Capacity: 500.

What fascinates me with this series is that they are clearly moving locations every year, introducing some new ones, while keeping some. This means they don’t establish longterm partnerships with these resorts and this doesn’t create memorable storylines on a specific trail or mountain. Not every race has to, but especially in trail running, the history and lore are very important. I’m curious what drives this.
