The big brands churn out their new shoes, adding version numbers to the year-over-year iterations of their various models. But it’s the small startup brands that have people talking. Here are the latest offerings that are turning heads:

  • NNormal – Kjerag Brut available now for $210
A version of the Kjerag with a grippier sole for better traction amidst muddy, like really muddy conditions.
  • Speedlands – RX:FPY available now for $299
A road shoe, with the brand’s signature BOA enclosure at an eye-popping price.
  • Satisfy – TheROCKER – launching this Summer, final price not yet confirmed
From the top it looks like an ultra-light climbing shoe, from the bottom like a pair of bubbly Crogs.
  • Norda – 005$325, launching on March 13th
This one might get caught in the tariff wars which will affect the final price and delivery, as it’s shipping from Canada. (Also, I’m sort of new to Norda, did they skip the 004?)
  • Mount to Coast – R1 – $160 (downright cheap!)
Another white road shoe made for ultra distances.

Not sure why all these brands release their shoes in such ‘demure’ colors… where did all the fun go?

I guess I’m a Shoetuber now.
