Double stones are up for grab at America’s Major, the Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB this weekend Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains above Los Angeles in California.

Below are the overall numbers for this year’s Kodiak Ultra Marathons:

  • 100 Mile Starters: 437. DNF: 109 + Finishers: 328. Women 57 (17%), Men 271 (83%).
  • 100K Starters: 511. DNF: 87 + Finishers: 424. Women 123 (29%), Men 301 (71%).
  • 50K Starters: 675. DNF: 64 + Finishers: 611. Women 249 (41%), Men 362 (59%).
  • 21K Starters: 514. DNF: 2 + Finishers: 512. Women 237 (46%), Men 275 (54%).
  • 10 K Starters: 85. DNF: XX + Finishers: XX. Women XX (XX), Men XX (XX).

Kodiak Ultra Marathons 2025 saw a total 2,222 starters and 1,957 finishers. 718 (37%) women and 1,239 (63%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index (or directly punched their ticket to the Finals in Chamonix for 2026).

Next we travel to Asia for a triple header in China with the Ultra-Trail Ninghai, South Korea with the TransJeju, and the brand new Trail of the Kings – Lake Toba in Indonesia all on on 17-19 October, 2025.
