Brian Metzler Joins UltraSignup as Director of Media

Just announced via LinkedIn by Co-CEO David Callahan:

For years, the running media landscape has been fragmented in ways that make discovery and exposure hard. Creators are spread across platforms. Runners are scattered too, trying to piece together where the best stories actually live. It creates this gap where great work exists, but the people who’d love it most aren’t always finding it.

We realized we had a different opportunity. We sit at the center of the trail running community, connected to hundreds of thousands of runners. We know what they care about. We see what they’re curious about through their registration patterns. We have a unique vantage point into the sport.

UltraSignup used to be an event registration platform and is now moving into the media space.
