The brutally hard (just check the DNF rate!) Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB was back on the menu this weekend in Wales, UK. The event was in the media earlier this year due to some course changes and additions to their race offerings.

  • UTS 100K Starters: 365. DNF: 156 + Finishers: 209. Women 28 (13%), Men 181 (87%).
  • UTS 80K Starters: 393. DNF: 52 + Finishers: 341. Women 43 (13%), Men 298 (87%).
  • UTS 50K Starters: 1,204. DNF: 264 + Finishers: 940. Women 172 (18%), Men 768 (82%).
  • Eryi 25K Starters: 758. DNF: 4 + Finishers: 754. Women 286 (38%), Men 468 (62%).

This year’s Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB added a 80K (100K category) race distance, but compared to last year the 100K and 80K together had fewer starters 758 than last year’s 100K with 825. Overall the event grew by single digit percentage and had a total 3,000 starters and 2,356 finishers. 541 (23%) women and 1,815 (77%) men reached the finish line and earned collectively 4,732 UTMB Stones.


After this very busy weekend for UTMB the World Series is heading to Austria for the mozart 100 in Fuschl am See outside Salzburg on 23rd May 2026.
