Zugspitz Ultra-Trail 2026 Results

Zugspitz Ultra-Trail joins the UTMB World Series for the first time this year and the weather pooped their party in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and around Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain. Several distances had to get shorted and rerouted, turning the big festival into somewhat of a mess to report on. Bare with me as I try to make sense of all the various results listing and figure out who actually won in the various distances.

Next weekend is the La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail in Cortina d’Ampezzo Italy on 24-28 and the Torrencial Chile in Valdivia, Chile on 26 – 28 June and of course the Western States Endurance Run in California, USA on 27-28 June where I will be crewing my buddy Scott Michie.
