Grindstone Trail Running Festival 2026 Results

Now in its fourth year as part of UTMB, Grindstone Trail Running Festival by UTMB Was one of the first U.S. events to join the World Series. This past weekend it was back for another go.

Sarah BERGERON LAROUCHE (Canada) makes it back to back wins in the 50K at Grindstone.

  • 100M Starters: 230. DNF: 109 + Finishers: 121. Women 12 (10%), Men 109 (90%).
  • 100K Starters: 228. DNF: 73 + Finishers: 155. Women 22 (14%), Men 133 (86%).
  • 50K Starters: 419. DNF: 55 + Finishers: 364. Women 97 (27%), Men 267 (73%).
  • 21K Starters: 308. DNF: 0 + Finishers: 308. Women 124 (40%), Men 184 (60%).

Grindstone Trail Running Festival 2026 bounced back from last year’s low numbers and finally climbed above 1,000 starters again. A total of 1,185 athletes started and 948 finished. 255 (27%) women and 693 (73%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones for the lottery and a chance to race the Finals in Chamonix for 2027.

As we’re heading into Fall the World Series is slowing down, a bit. Next week we have just one race on the calendar, nice: Nice Côte d’Azur by UTMB in Nice, France on 24-27 September, 2026.
