ECC as Email Into Your Inbox

I just sent my irregular email newsletter for Electric Cable Car. Have you ever wished you could receive Electric Cable Car as email? This is for you. And here’s my occasional reminder that A – this exists, and B – here’s how to sign up:

On this websites’ Follow tab in the sidebar navigation you get a list of various ways you can ‘follow’ Electric Cable Car.

• First one on the list is the newsletter. Here’s what this one looks like. I sent it once or twice a month summarizing all the links, articles, and Singletrack podcast episodes I shared in the past few weeks. It’s great for folks who keep forgetting to visit ECC on the web regularly.
• And for folks who don’t use an RSS feed reader – the second option on the follow page gives you the link to sign up for that one.
• The third option is the ECC Mastodon Feed. Mastodon is a decentralized social network, like Twitter without the techno-fascist ownership. On Mastodon I syndicate each post and share it there, with links, for easy follow and your ability to instant-comment.
• Lastly, on the very bottom of the list is the ‘WordPress Instant Delivery‘ email. This is an option for folks who want more control of how many emails and how often you get them. You can receive an email every time I share a post – who would want that? Or you can choose to get a daily or weekly summary – more palatable.
