The issue is that sadly KMF have got into bed with a polluting sponsor and taken their oily money.
Kendal took on Dacia as sponsors. Dacia makes cars and sometimes they like to sponsor outdoor events. Damian’s The Green Runners made a big deal out of this when they partnered with UTMB, so clearly he’d be a hypocrite if he didn’t take a stand now and show up in the same stage as the evil sports washers.
Everyone’s allowed to die on the hill they are comfortable on, but being sponsored by NNormal which is selling AI generated shirts yet then complaining about another outdoor brand (Kendal in this scenario) applying the moral yardstick differently is, well, a choice. Here’s Damian wearing one of these shirts, if I’m not mistaken.
