India’s sport publication ‘The Bridge’ is reporting this rumor* on their Instagram account:
The UTMB World Series is coming to India, with its first event to be hosted in 2027.
Yoska has partnered with the UTMB World Series to bring the global trail-running circuit to India.
Three to four locations are currently being considered, with the Himalayan foothills, Western and Eastern Ghats and Northeast among the regions in contention.
*I’m calling this a rumor for now, as I don’t have official confirmation, but this all seems reasonable, given that Yoska is the franchise owner of Ironman Group races in India.
