One of the biggest issues with our National Parks is equitable access for people who can’t afford or chose to not have a car.

So, here at the Electric Cable Car world headquarters we’re all about public transit offering creative solutions to get people into the outdoors.

But there’s another angle, albeit a bit more frivolous or even selfish: Public Transport allows for new creative routes to be established. One way runs won’t need to be looped, or complicatedly organized with key hand offs or personal vehicles on either end.
In the Hurricane Ridge example: One could run from Port Angeles up to Hurricane Ridge and take the shuttle back down. And I bet there are a few other cool options one could come up with… rolls up sleeves and opens Strava route builder.
