Andre Schürrle Jumps Into The Backyard Ultra World

Ex-National Team soccer player and World Cup winner Andre Schürrle has been running trails and ultras for a few years. After earlier this year the German Kim Gottwald (co-)won that BPN Backyard Ultra Nick Bare put on to promote his nutrition supplements this incredible specialized race format seems to really have taken off in Germany. Last week Schürrle and Gottwald toed the line at the Last Soul Ultra in Bornheim. Sunday night over 40,000 watched the livestream for a total of 3,3million views on Youtube.
