LIVE: This weekend (Apr 4-7, 2024) on our Global Race Series Calendar:

Istria 100‘ is UTMB’s third race on the 2024 calendars and up until recently was one of the last events that still had their own website. Now the links all redirect to a one of their subdomains the way UTMB setups the races in their World Series. Istria, situated in Croatia, has been sold up for the past two month and offers runners their chance to get their hands on UMTB stones.

ISTRIA 100 by UTMB started in 2013 and today it gathers more than 2000 runners from all over the world. In 5 distances, 100 miles, 110k, 69k, 42k and 21k, courses combine every aspect of Istria: difficult and technical terrain, little bit of coasteering, old medieval towns, deep forests, city centres, muddy wallies, streams and brooks, canyons and many beautiful panoramas.

Jim WALMSLEY won the race in 2023 and set a new course record. For 2024 the full starting list hasn’t posted yet, but there are some big names on the starting list including: Alexander Westenberger, Ida Sophie Hegemann, Claire Bannwarth on the 100 Miler and Pau Capell and Janosch Kowalczyk on the 110K.

Live tracking for the races can be found here.
