Julian Alps Trail Run 2025 Results

After the UTMB Finals in Chamonix the UTMB World Series heads to Slovenia for the country’s biggest trail running event: the Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB. This very international event saw over a dozen different nationalities on the podiums across the seven different races.

  • LAKE BLED 80K Starters: 677. DNF: 117 + Finishers: 559. Women 111 (20%), Men 448 (80%).
  • ‌SKY TRAIL 50K Starters: 1059. DNF: 59 + Finishers: 1000. Women 293 (29%), Men 707 (71%).
  • ‌KRANJSKA GORA 25K Starters: 823. DNF: 1 + Finishers: 821. Women 363 (44%), Men 458 (56%).
  • ‌INTERSPORT SPEED 15K Starters: 630. DNF: 0 + Finishers: 627. Women 312 (50%), Men 315 (50%).
  • FUNNY 10K Starters: 402. DNF: 1 + Finishers: 401. Women 233 (58%), Men 168 (42%).

Julian Alps Trail Run 2025 saw a total of just 4,139 starters and 3,834 finishers. 1,374 (36%) women and 2,460 (64%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index (or directly punched their ticket to the Finals in Chamonix for 2026).

Next weekend is another massive week for the UTMB World Series with four events around the globe. Nice Côte d’Azur is back in Nice Côte d’Azur, France, the second edition of Ultra Trail Whistler in Whistler, BC Canada, and the first editions of both Malaysia Ultra Trail in Taiping, Malaysia, and Kaçkar in Kaçkar, Türkiye on 25-28 September, 2025.
