Already a few days old news, but according to the UltraSignup entry list Kilian Jornet will be back racing in California this coming June. He’s accepted this invite to return to Western States in 2026 as a previous top 10 finisher.
Back when he first raced the event it took him two tries to get it right. First time he came in 3rd, only to return to take the win. This time, in 2025 he came in third… well, we shall see what happens.
People think that all he needs is a carbon plate in his shoes and he’ll take the win.
