La Sportiva Prodigio Strava Challenge

Inspired by the Chipotle Strava Challenge, La Sportiva is doing something similar in their US home base of Boulder, CO:

To celebrate the season kickoff and the launch of our new Prodigio Pro mountain running shoe, we invite the local Boulder trail running community to our Sanitas Challenge!

I do have some questions around how the permitting works for businesses doing these local marketing events on trails, but mostly I want to point out that the event began April 15th, runs for a month and is meant to promote La Sportiva’s new Prodigio Pro (super)shoe. Yet the shoe is mostly sold out right now in their web store. How do I know this? I really wanted to buy a pair this week… sigh.
