Last Minute Injuries

Several top runners are dealing with late injury blows and their chances of them showing up at the starting line are slim:

• Zack Miller had to have his appendix removed – WHHHAT?
• Katharina Hartmuth is still dealing with a bum back from a fall on a training run just before leaving Europe – Gute Besserung, there’s still hope.
• Maggie Guterl just told me this morning that she’s definitely out for the race – huge bummer.

I’ll add to this list if I hear more.
