Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB was one of four World Series events on this busy weekend. Runners battled the course… and leeches, apparently.

  • MY100 Starters: 257. DNF: 59 + Finishers: 198. Women 37 (19%), Men 161 (81%).
  • MY50 Starters: 794. DNF: 94 + Finishers: 700. Women 158 (23%), Men 542 (77%).
  • MY25 Starters: 960. DNF: 68 + Finishers: 892. Women 250 (28%), Men 642 (72%).
  • MY13 Starters: 253. DNF: 1 + Finishers: 252. Women 120 (48%), Men 132 (52%).
  • MYVK Starters: 35. DNF: 2 + Finishers: 33. Women 9 (27%), Men 24 (73%).

Malaysia Ultra-Trail saw a total 2,299 starters and 2,075 (90%) finishers. 574 (28%) women and 1,501 (72%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index (or directly punched their ticket to the Finals in Chamonix for 2026).
