Registration And Lottery Information for the UTMB Finals 2026

Below are all the key dates to add to your calendar if you’re planning on making good use of your Running Stones and entering the lottery in the hopes of racing in Chamonix this summer.

Important registation dates:

• 16 December – 11:00 CET: Registration opens for Charity Bibs (UTMB, CCC, OCC). PTL team applications can be submitted. 
• 22 December 2025 – 23:59 CET: Deadline for PTL applications. 
• 13 January – 11:00 CET: Registration opens for the TDS and YCC. 
• 8-19 January – 23:59 CET: Pre-registration period for the UTMB, CCC, OCC, MCC, and ETC lottery. 

Lotteries for UTMB, CCC, OCC, MCC, ETC:

• 22 January – 11:00 CET: Lottery results announced. 
• 22 January to 4 February – 23:59 CET: Registration confirmation period for runners selected in the lottery. 
• 5 February: If bibs remain unconfirmed, runners on the waiting list will be contacted. Positions on the waiting list will not be disclosed. 
• 12 February – 23:59 CET: Deadline for runners selected in the second round to confirm their registration. 

This time around the registration period is shortened to just 11 days, in previous years the window to register was open for almost an entire month. But there’s no advantage to registering early – this could just be the results of the organization having their tech stack better in control and fewer worries about servers melting down.

The lottery results will be announced on January 22nd 2026, which is about a week later than in previous years.

New for the 2026 Finals is that there will be lotteries for the MCC and ETC races.
