UltraSignup Adds ‘Refund Guarantee’ Option

For years folks were hoping for serious product updates from UltraSignup to their registration platform. Adding a refund guarantee option to the race registration flow is a big one, and something that has become the norm for “big races”. So, there it is. Now (soon) available in UltraSignup.

The important piece of information:

Participants who opt-in will have the added ability to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours before the race. They’ll do this through an email they receive after registration. When a participant requests a refund, their registration will automatically be canceled in our system so that your information and ours stays in sync.

When a participant is issued a refund, you keep the full registration amount. The 80% refund is paid directly to the participant from UltraSignup.

Currently this is in beta and will be opt-in for the RD. The rollout of this feature is planned for early 2026.
