The original websites ultratrailmb.com and utmbmontblanc.com now redirect to montblanc.utmb.world. The event calls itself now UTMB Mont Blanc. Back in 2015 (one of the earliest website entries I can find on the Internet Archive) the event in Chamonix was called Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc now it’s the UTMB Mont-Blanc.
I also love the subtle difference in branding between the World Series Finals and all the events around the world. Chamonix still gets to keep the little runner graphic uniquely for itself and the banner underneath each World Series event that says ‘By UTMB’ is changed to ‘Mont-Blanc’ for the Series Finals.
Clever.
