In 2017, Bennally started the Antelope Canyon X half marathon to fund a trip across the country for his family after he qualified for the Boston Marathon. The race took runners through the same Navajo land Bennally and his elders had grown up running on.

Is this the first time an event that has its registration on UltraSignup, and is sponsored by Tailwind Nutrition is highlighted by The Washington Post? (Outside of Western States maybe?)
