The Trail du Saint Jacques is an ultratrail event in the French province of Auvergne Rhone Alpes. An area that would probably be called the Prealps in Germany. Without the inclusion in the UTMB World Series, this run would probably have remained hidden from us. However, the mere declaration as a UTMB World Series event is apparently not enough to take the event to a new level in terms of sport. Because the international top athletes were sought in vain at this event…
