The Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB are happening this weekend in Snowbird, outside Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The races were started by ‘Speedgoat’ Karl Meltzer, who was one of the first to sell his event to UTMB. Below are the numbers broken down by distance and gender:

  • Speedgoat 50K Starters: 668. DNF: 126 + Finishers: 543. Women 116 (21%), Men 427 (79%).
  • Speedgoat 28K Starters: 467. DNF: 61 + Finishers: 406. Women 135 (33%), Men 271 (67%).
  • Speedgoat 10K Starters: 180. DNF: 0 + Finishers: 180. Women 86 (48%), Men 94 (52%).

Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB saw a total 1,315 starters and 1,129 finishers. 337 (30%) women and 792 (70%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index (or directly punched their ticket to the Finals in Chamonix for 2026).
