After 48 hours of social posts and news stories about Ben Dhiman winning UTMB, is anyone other than me celebrating the biggest race in the trail-ultra calendar being won by a man of South Asian heritage? I haven’t seen any. If you have, please tell me because I want to be friends with them.

I didn’t get a chance to actually do the research on Ben’s heritage and for that I apologize, but yes, his achievement is very much worth celebrating.
