Amazean Jungle by UTMB

LIVE: This weekend (May 3- 5, 2024) on our Global Race Series Calendar:

Things are going super fast around here. We’re heading back to Asia for the Amazean Jungle by UTMB event, UTMB’s 7th race of the year on the 2024 calendar. Amazean Jungle is the “other event” in Thailand. The recently renamed Chiang Mai Thailand is the Asia Major and will be the last race of the year in early December.

There’s no live video of the event, but the tracking for the five races can be found here.

Here’s a link to the 2024 runner’s guide for the event, which is kind of fun to flip through and get a feel of how different and similar UTMB events are around the world.

There’s prize money being awarded for the top three races as follows:

• 600 Euro for 1st Male/Female
• 450 Euro for 2nd Male/Female
• 300 Euro for 3rd Male/Female

Prize money seems to start appearing more and more at UTMB events (I have word that there was prize money awarded at Canyons last weekend – am trying to track down solid info and will update once I get the official word).
