Honest conversations with trail running industry pros, and fans who love the mountains. One of the longest running podcast in the scene. This is Singletrack.

Polish skier Andrzej Bargiel achieves a crazy ‘world’s first’: He climbed Mt. Everest with no bottled oxygen, but with his skis on his back to then ski all the way from the summit back down to basecamp… or wherever the snow stopped, just before basecamp.

There are crazy firsts and then there’s this. Clearly on Mount Everest if you want to stand out you have to do something really crazy, and while a ski descend doesn’t seem too out of this world, the idea of traversing the Khumbu icefall on skis feels over the top crazy. But also incredible amazing. What an achievement – crazy!
