Aside from the question if it was okay for Camille to share the slides, we do get some transparency and insight into what was discussed and what the main concerns were.
It seems like the stone system might be working for average runners, but not so much for the Pros.

If this happens, then UTMB World Series will become the de facto global world championships.
It’s an important aspect, and I think it’s a good idea for the PTRA to continue to stress this very real and global concern, but this is also something where the athletes are basically asking UTMB for help and aren’t just there to hold them accountable.
In 2022 they launched with 25 events. In less than two years, the added 16 more. That’s roughly 8 new events per year. These new numbers would suggest them slowing their expansion to about half.

A lot of disconnect and growing pains which has been exasperated by a toxic online discourse and the ‘us vs. them‘ mentality. Let’s see how some of the elites are going to respond to this meeting and any action items that results from it.
