Just a month until the new Skyrunner USA National Series kicks off. Four incredible races invite you to touch the sky: Whiteface Skyrace, Beast of Big Creek, Skeetawk Skyline Scramble, Kismet Cliff Run.
The new legends of Cushman Six are Barrett Gray and Charlie Levy from Seattle, Washington. They lowered the FKT by over four hours (I’ll update this post once it’s on the FKT site). The new time to complete the 6 peaks of Mt. Washington, Mt. Ellinor, Mt. Rose, Copper Peak East & West and Cub Peak, starting at Big Creek and finishing at Staircase is now 12 hours 9 minutes.
Super inspiring stuff! I feel honored and humbled that someone would find this route I created inspiring to follow it and make it their own.
I guess it’s time to find my mountain legs.
