Fighting to Keep the Roadless Rule

The amazing folks at Runners for Public Lands are keeping us informed what Trump is up to while you’re not watching. The latest move: ‘rescinding the roadless rule’:

The current administration is attempting to rescind the 2001 Roadless Rule, putting millions of acres of national forest land and countless trails and trail races at risk.

It’s so exhausting to endlessly have to worry and fight and engage and activate, but hey, here we are:

The U.S. Forest Service is currently accepting comments until September 19. If you’re an individual runner not representing a group or race, we encourage you to submit a comment directly.
