What’s in it sounds good. The design for the packaging looks like a straight copycat of Spring’s Awesome Sauce – and even with the same flavor profile.
Is this a smart strategy? Trying to align your brand new product with one of the most controversial energy products in recent history? And risking a cease and desist on top of it? Sure, I maybe would’ve not posted about it if Hüma wouldn’t have chosen to blatantly and purposely copy the design of Spring’s packaging, but it’s one thing to copy a competing product in jest for a marketing blitz, it’s another to define an entire new product around the design of one of their competitors. I’m not a lawyer, but me thinks this might be not the last time we’ve heard about this.
