On his Instagram account Kilian Jornet confirmed today that he’s getting his running stone at Eiger to get into UTMB this August. Yesterday we reported on the possibility. What makes it worth a second post is the comments under Kilian’s post on IG. I find it funny how many people are calling out UTMB for their entry process suggesting that elites should be treated differently (better?) and get automatic entries unlike the rest of us who have to qualify. Like, I don’t get why a non-pro runner who has to qualify to get into UTMB would comment on a pro runner’s post suggesting that that pro should get preferential treatment over themselves. What a weird world we live in, let me tell you.
