Another summer, another wildfire forces the cancellation of Teanaway Country 100 in Washington State. Rainshadow took over the event from founder Brian Morrison and since then the event had to be cancelled twice. And that’s not on Rainshadow at all, this event, even under Morrison’s tutelage had seem more changes/cancelations and interruptions that regular runnings. Something, something being build on ancient burial ground… this event really does feel like it’s cursed. Or maybe it’s just that these are the realities of our summers in the “new normal”?
