Skyrunner World Series Points and Prize Money

I will not understand why organizations are posting important announcement solely on Instagram, but here’s what the Skyrunner World Series just announced for their 2024 World Series:

In 2024 all races award the same points, apart from the SkyMasters.
€227,000 is the TOTAL prize money of the season (no you didn’t read it wrong) swipe to see the breakdown.
Athletes must do 4 races plus SkyMasters to be eligible for prize money pool and be in final overall ranking

In comparison with other major trail running series:

• World Trail Majors is offering €47,000.
• UTMB is offering €156,000
• Golden Trail Series is offering:

more than €300,000 total of the prize money on the entire series

• Mountain Running World Cup:

 … and escalated the overall prize pool, with the Valsir World Cup champions set to claim €5,000 in 2024.

This is not neatly broken down in a way that it’s comparable and not all the money dedicated to elites is even included as some series provide travel and accommodation stipends beyond the prize money. Therefore I find it a bit tricky to compare and pass judgement in which series is offering “the best deal” for elites, but seeing the numbers in contrast to each other is a helpful starting point.
