The Canyons Endurance Runs by UTMB is happening this weekend. The “other Western States” event – and for many elites a tune up race for WSER in eight weeks – uses many of the same trails and the finishes in Auburn. Coverage continues all weekend, but here are the first results.

  • 100k Starters: 677. DNF: 138 + Finishers: 539. Women 178 (33%), Men 361 (67%).
  • 50K Starters: 630. DNF: 16 + Finishers: 614. Women 194 (32%), Men 420 (68%).
  • 25K Starters: 323. DNF: 12 + Finishers: 311. Women 136 (44%), Men 175 (56%).

The 2026 edition of The Canyons Endurance by UTMB had a total 1,873 starters and 1,616 finishers. (Almost the same number of starters as last year – 2025: 1843). 554 (34%) women and 1,062 (66%) men reached the finish line and earned collectively 1,939 UTMB Stones.

Next up, the UTMB World Series is heading for the first time to Portugal for the Oh Meu Deus and back to the Amazean Jungle in the Betong District of Thailand, both events will be on next weekend on 30 April – 03 May.
