Ultra-Trail Ninghai by UTMB in China is one of three events in Asia this weekend. Among the 5,000+ runners, several top runners made the trek to East China’s mountain area and made it onto the podiums.

Below are the overall numbers for this year’s Ultra-Trail Ninghai:

  • UTNH105 Starters: 1,291. DNF: 502 + Finishers: 789. Women 171 (22%), Men 618 (78%).
  • CNH60 Starters: 1,828. DNF: 244 + Finishers: 1,584. Women 531 (34%), Men 1,053 (66%).
  • YNH25 Starters: 2,403. DNF: 26 + Finishers: 2,377. Women 1,017 (43%), Men 1,360 (57%).

Ultra-Trail Ninghai saw a total 5,522 starters and 4,750 finishers. 1,719 (36%) women and 3,031 (64%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index (or directly punched their ticket to the Finals in Chamonix for 2026).

After three events in Asia the UTMB World Series is returning to Europe for two more events that couldn’t be more different Kullamannen in Sweden and Mallorca on the island with the same name in Spain on 31 October – 2 November, 2025.
