UltraSignup Buys US Trail Running Conference

Info about it I only found In Instagram stories so far, so no link, until we get more information about it. But it sounds like UltraSignup is buying this conference, which is mainly focused on race directors, and has been going on for the past 13 years. The event was founded and spearheaded by Terry Chiplin, who recently moved to France and been supported by ATRA (American Trail Running Association). Over the past few years the event location had been flip-flopped between the east and west coast of the US with each location hosting two years in a row. From the Instagram announcements it sounds like UltraSignup is planning on moving the conference to Nashville, Tennessee – home of the UltraSignup offices – for the coming year. It’ll be interesting to see if UltraSignup is continuing with this very narrow focus – mainly RDs and brands supporting RDs, or if the intention is to build an east coast version of TrailCon.
