From the NNormal blog:

This time, and after his experience last year in the Pyrenees, Kilian Jornet embarks on a new Alpine challenge with the desire to push his limits and discover how far he can go physically and mentally while linking as many 4,000-meter summits as possible through ridges using only human-powered means and local resources. The stage for his new adventure is none other than the Alps, a mountain range he aims to rediscover while staying true to his values: leaving no trace, embracing the purest Alpine style, and chaining hours upon hours of activity to make the most of this project.

Back in 2015 the late Ueli Steck climbed all 82 4,000M Peaks in the span of 61 days and used only a bike and a paraglider to travel between them (he did have a support team on wheels). When Ueli put this project on the map it felt almost pedestrian for Ueli, but when completed it created this beautiful, yet approachable story line.

Will be interesting to see how Kilian will approach his project, it’s already pretty late in the summer and some of the glacier travel might be challenging.
