Lavaredo Ultra Trail 2026 Results

It’s Lavaredo Ultra Trail weekend people, and that means it’s Hannes Namberger weekend in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy and after the German missed the race last year in lieu of running Western States Hannes was back for the 120K, took his 4th win, and reclaimed the course record. Cortina is Hannes town.

In the 120K women’s race Sunmaya Budha from Nepal took the win with a very late overtake on the final downhill into Cortina.

  • 80K Starters: 919. DNF: 143 + Finishers: 776. Women 205 (26%), Men 571 74%).
  • 50K Starters: 1,459. DNF: 85 + Finishers: 1,374. Women 402 (29%), Men 972 (71%).
  • 20K Starters: 603. DNF: 72 + Finishers: 531. Women 212 (40%), Men 319 (60%).

Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB saw a smaller number of starters than last year when I raced the event with a total of 4,943 starters and 4,173 finishers. 1,251 (30%) women and 3,455 (74%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index.

Europe’s UTMB Major is coming up next at the Val D’Aran by UTMB in Val d’Aran, Spain on 1 – 5 July 2026.
