I don’t often link to Outside with a positive comment, but in this case I couldn’t agree more. I love my Suunto Race watch.

My only wishes for improvement for the product are:

• My biggest gripe is that the entire charging mechanism. It’s way too finicky and doesn’t “lock” the watch properly in place when on the charger. Luckily this does not affect performance while actually using the product.
• Offer a USB-C charging cable. Hello, it’s 2025 and what even is USB-A anymore. COROS has a slick, and inexpensive solution for this.
• Allow message replies directly from the watch on iOS – it exists for Android. (This is probably one of those dumb Apple issues and I should be mad at Apple not Suunto about that one).
