Puerto Vallarta Mexico is Back

After a hiatus in 2025 which allowed UTMB to move the date to a different part of the year on their calendar, the popular Mexican event is back. Previously Puerto Vallarta was held in November but is now moved to 5-7 March, 2026.

Registration opens:

  • August 5 – 9:00 a.m. (Mexico) / 5:00 p.m. (France): For runners with a UTMB Index
  • August 7 – 9:00 a.m. (Mexico) / 5:00 p.m. (France): Open to the general public

Still missing from their previous list of races is the 100M distance, and as of now no stones or categories are allotted for the races listed.

I wonder if their 100K distance, the ‘Hikuri 95K’ would make for a good WSER Golden Ticket race with its new date set in early March?
