Torrencial Chile by UTMB was added to the UTMB World Series just back in November. Now for the first time on the circuit the event Torrencial delivered a classic southern hemisphere winter race. Below are the podium finisher for the stone eligible races in the 100K, 50K, and 20K categories.

Torrencial Chile by UTMB saw a total 1,908 starters and 1,721 finishers. 623 (36%) women and 1096 (64%) men reached the finish line and earned themselves their respective stones and an UTMB index (or directly punched their ticket to the Finals in Chamonix for 2025).

Next weekend is the La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail in Cortina d’Ampezzo Italy on 25-29, 2025. I’ll be racing the 120K, so expect a bit of delay in coverage. Also on for that weekend is the Western States Endurance Run in California, USA – an event that needs no introduction – and one that isn’t tracked live on the UTMB Live website, but on the Western States one.
