…hundreds of thousands of small businesses are facing existential risk this year — not in the abstract, but in the next few months.

The US and by that I mean Trump’s trade policies and tariffs will create complete and utter havoc on the retail economy over the next few months. How this will affect trail races and the surrounding economy is still up in the air, but there’s absolutely no scenario where this will be a positive thing for anyone.
